The goal

Create a customized Moroccan experience

Develop an intuitive user interface.
Design a convenient flow experience tailored to the user's interests.
To present the look & feel of Morocco by using ethnic illustrations.

Inspiration

Magical Morocco

The streets, the color combinations, the food, the architecture, the patterns and the materials in the authentic Moroccan style.
My design decisions
Moroccan color palette and arabic fonts
When I designed the user interface I wanted to use the color pallets of Morocco;
green, peach and white - with a high contrast so the user will easily recognize the CTA.
In the titles I used a font type that connects the look & feel of arabic fonts.

After I designed the UX, I realized the design is overloaded
the problems are that the user can’t focus on one action, it isn’t clear what action goes first.
I designed the UX I received and created doodles of traditional Moroccan images
I identified that the screens are too overloaded
My UX solution
Separate the content for a few screens to avoid cognitive overload
I used a uniform structure in the screens to give the user a sense of familiarity

The app selects the ideal places to visit based on the user’s preferences and builds a schedule for the journey
Use of bright colors and clean layout

An easy way for the user to know where they are and the next spot to visit
I used a deep orange color to contrast the current place component, so the current location will be immediately clear
Illustrations
Feel like you are in Morroco before you arrive
I made a collection of detailed and delicate illustrations in order to create a recognizable brand for the application.
